Not a Whole Lot Goin' On

Just another day. However, my husband is taking me to Sweet Tomatoes for my veggie "fix" after we drop Alyssa off at cheerleading practice. Yi! It seems cheerleading (or something) has taken over our lives! I guess it was the same when the boys were young. It was soccer or football or basketball or something at school or at church.... With Alyssa it's been dance and now this. I must say though, as much as I complained about Miz Becky and her ways, I miss the fun we had at recitals! We were so proud of Alyssa's accomplishments and we who were there remember the absolutely corny, sometimes lame "skits" they did that had us splitting our sides with laughter! Let that be a lesson to us all, DON'T COMPLAIN about the things you do with your kids--they just might turn out to be some of your best memories......
